The following is a list of promotions that Dairyland Greyhound Park has proposed for the 1999 racing season.  Promotional events subject to change and Wisconsin Division of Gaming Approval Ongoing Promotions First & Third Fridays On the first and third Fridays of every month, Dairyland will run 50 cent specials after 6:00 pm.  The standard specials will include 50 cent general parking, 50 cent grandstand admission, 50 cent live greyhound programs and 50 cent food and beverage items.  The food and beverage items will include 12 ounce draft beer, which may or may not be product specific, 12 ounce softdrinks and hot dogs.  Specials may also include items such as “Grab Bag” size chips.  Senior Wednesday Matinees Seniors, 55 years and over, receive free admission to Wednesday Matinee performances.  The Dining Room also features a senior menu on Wednesday afternoons.  Ladies Night Women, 18 years and over, will receive free admission after 6:00 pm on Wednesday nights.  Dairyland will also run Ladies Night drink specials    Date Specific Promotions   Jan. 1 1st Friday/Calendar Giveaway While supplies last, patrons, 18 years and over, will receive a free Dairyland Greyhound Park 1999 season calendar magnet.  These will be passed out during both Matinee and Evening performances.  Friday night, January 1, 1999 is also a First Friday promotion.  Jan. 23 Knit Hat Giveaway Night While supplies last, patrons, 18 years and over, will receive a free Dairyland Greyhound Park Knit Hat after 6:00 pm.  Feb 13 eve.  Valentine’s Promo We are currently working on promotion giveaways, as well as dining room specials March 5  Meet WWF’s Kane (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm) Dairyland will present a personal appearance from WWF’s Kane for autograph signing.  All minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. (Click link for for info) (click photo for show highlights) April 17  Sweatshirt Giveaway While supplies last, everyone 18 years and over, will receive a free Dairyland Sweatshirt after 6:00 pm.  (please note: the promotion was originally scheduled as a windbreaker giveaway.  The promotion has changed to a sweatshirt)  Also, patrons 21 years and over can WIN one of two FUNJET VACATIONS for two to Las Vegas with accommodations at the Imperial Palace on the exciting Las Vegas Strip. May 1 Kentucky Derby (Simulcast event) May 8 Greyhound Night of Stars (Live and Simulcast event) Pending approval from the Greyhound Night of Stars Simulcast Committee and Dairyland Management, Dairyland will request being both a host and a simulcast guest for the Greyhound Night of Stars. May 15 Preakness (Simulcast event)  May 30 Evening - Scratch Off Card Night & Funjet Vacations Giveaway Sunday night, May 30, Dairyland will feature a scratch off game promotion. Patrons 18 years and over receive a free Dairyland Scratch Off Game piece, sponsored by Pepsi & Miller Lite.  Every card is a winner, over 15,00 prizes will be won.  Also everytime you visit the mutuel windows and make a wager, you receive another Scratch Off Card, while supplies last.  Also, patrons, 21 years and over,  can enter to win one of three Funjet Vacations Getaways for Two to Las Vegas.  (See Below). May 30 Evening - Win one of three Funjet Vacations for Two to Las Vegas Patrons, 21 years and over, have a chance to win one of three Funjet Vacations for Two to Las Vegas during the special Sunday evening holiday weekend performance.  That night also features Dairyland Scratch Off Promotion (see above).  Prize drawings after races 11, 13 & 15. June 5 Belmont Stakes (Simulcast event) June 20 Father’s Day Brunch & Promo ($2 Daily Double Wager before 1:30 pm) Dad's, 18 years & over receive Free Admission.  Dairyland will feature a special Father’s Day Brunch in the Clubhouse Dining Room.  “Dad”, 18 years and over will receive a free $2 Daily Double wager before 1:30 pm.   Also prize drawings during the All-Superfecta matinee card. July 10 Mid American Wrestling  (live wrestling bouts on our outside grandstand area with a special guest appearance from Wrestling Legend "The Crusher") Before the evening  evening performance, Dairyland Greyhound Park will host a live wrestling show put on by Mid American Wrestling.  August 14 Greyhound Beanie Dog Giveaway Night While supplies last (After 6:00 pm), patrons 18 years and over with paid admission, will receive a specially made greyhound beanie dog for Dairyland.    Dogs wear a red #1 blanket with Dairyland logo. Oct. 20 Meet former AWA/WWF Women's Champ Sherri Martel Sensational Sherri Martel appears courtesy of Mid American Werstling for a special autograph session (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm) (Click Photo for more info) Sept. 5 Duffle Bag Giveaway Night While supplies last, patrons, 18 years and over, will receive a free Dairyland Greyhound Park Duffle Bag after 6:00 pm. Bags are sponsored by Time Warner Cable.  September 18  Rage At The Races II Mid American Wrestling returns to Dairyland Greyhound Park for another live wrestling show before the evening performances.  This time there is more at stake... The winner of this tournament format will earn the Dairyland Championship Title.  Doors open at 5:15 pm, wrestling starts 6:00 pm. (Click link for more info) Oct. 2 Greyhound Night of Stars IV Simulcast 15 greyhound races from 15 different greyhound tracks around the country, all in one simulcast racecard. Oct. 16 Handicapping Contest (Evening Performance - Tenative Date) This will be based on the same format as our 1998 handicapping contest.  Cash prizes to be determined.  They must be present to win.  Nov. 6 Breeders Cup (Simulcast Event) Live from Gulfsteam Park.  Thoroughbred racing's premiere championship day Cancelled Nov. 20 House Credit/Deer Hunters Widow Night Dec. 3 Fan Appreciation Night There will be a number of giveaways from our sponsors, as well, this is a First Friday.  Patrons, 18 years and over, will receive an entry form for the drawings.  They must be present to win.  Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve Party Prime Rib Dinner Buffet. Dairyland will host a New Year’s Eve party after the races with live music.  Dance in the New Year with "The Class of '62 - Surfboys"
