Tuesday Evenings
1. No purchase necessary to enter. Must be 18 years of age at time
of entry to participate. Proof of age is required.
2. Admission fee is required to enter the track, but is not required
to receive a contest entry form or participate.
3. Hand print your name, age, and address on the official entry form
and submit in any of the official entry form boxes located around Dairyland
Greyhound Park before the start of the 3rd race.
4. The contest will begin on Dairyland’s fourth official race.
The first contestant will be drawn at random prior to the start of the
third official race. The contest will consist of a maximum of five
consecutive races. Official contest races from here on will be referred
to as “legs” of the contest.
5. In the first leg, participants must select a greyhound to finish
at least third. If the participant’s selected greyhound finishes
1st, 2nd, or 3rd, they win $20. At this point, the contestant can
quit and keep the $20 cash prize or advance to the second leg. If
the contestant decides to advance to the next leg, they forfeit their $20
winnings for a chance to win $50 in the next leg.
6. In the second leg, participants must select a greyhound to finish
at least second. If the participant’s selected greyhound finishes
1st or 2nd , the participant wins $50. If not, they receive $0.
At this point, the winning contestant can quit and keep the $50
cash prize or advance to the third leg. If the contestant decides
to advance to the next leg, they forfeit their $50 winnings for a
chance to win $250.
7. In the third leg, the participant must select a greyhound
to win. If the participant’s selected greyhound finishes 1st,
the participant wins $250 and advances to the fourth leg. If
the contestant is correct, he or she automatically advances to the fourth
leg and an opportunity to win $500.
8. The participant automatically advances to the fourth leg and an
opportunity to win $500. In the fourth leg, the participant must select
a greyhound to win. If the participant’s selected greyhound finishes
1st, he or she wins $500. If he or she is incorrect, they keep the
$250 winnings from leg 3 and the contest ends for that contestant.
At this point, the winning contestant can quit and keep the $500
cash prize or advance to the fifth and final leg of the contest.
If the contestant decides to advance to the fifth leg, they forfeit
their $500 winnings for a chance to win $1000.
9. In the fifth leg, the participant must select a greyhound to win.
If the participant’s selected greyhound finishes 1st, they win $1,000.
If he or she are incorrect, they keep the $250 from leg 3.
At that point, the contest has ended for that contestant.
10. Contestants can stop at any time. If they make it past the
third leg, the least they win is $250.
11. A new contestant will be selected after the current contestant
makes an incorrect selection, decides to end the game before the fifth
leg, or wins $1,000. The same contest rules will apply to the 2nd contestant.
12. Should a person’s selection in any of the races become a late scratch,
that person will be given the betting favorite in that race.
