Kay V South West was best in capturing the $12,500 Dairyland Derby stake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

South West rewarded those who backed him at odds of 15-1 as he powered his way to the lead, never looking back, and winning by 1 1/2 lengths running 38.72.

T's Racing Kennelmates – Secretoak, ran second, and Kay V Keep Wet ran third.

Kay V Keep Wet had three wins before a second place finish in the semifinal round.

Yo My Aunt Nonna ran fourth followed by Bl Wind Breaker, Tyville Escalade, Light Vallie and Lightingmcqueen.

The victory was number 12 of the meet for Kay V South West in 52 starts (52/12-13-8-4). The July 2005 son of Flying Penske/Flying Aquilera is owned by Vince Berland and trained Kris Dial for the T and T Kennel.
