(4/8/2007) - My Johnnys Wish Cruises To Win |
|
My Johnnys Wish didn’t seem to mind starting out of the 5 box in the final of the 2007 King & Queen Stakes. The Greyhound Express speedster stormed to a two length lead at the first turn. Wish would extend the margin the rest of the way. He lead by four lengths at the far turn and then really turned it on down the stretch to win by ten lengths. It was his largest margin of victory since his first career start, a twelve length maiden victory. Ohboompowsuprise (Sunrunner) finished second and Fasttrack Alonzo (Greyhound Central) ran third. Congratulations to My Johnnys Wish, trainer Heather Morgan and owner Laveda Woodall on winning the 2007 King & Queen Stakes. |
